Before I dive deep, deep into my holiday crafting I want to share a few more fall themed projects. These cards come from my team’s card swap for the July-December Mini catalogue. The Splendid Thoughts bundle is so nice! But I especially LOVE the Designer Series Paper! I think that’s why I love these cards so much.
This first card was made by Moira Sands. She uses the stamp set and coordinating dies for her design with Mint Macaron as her main colour. The shimmery DSP design looks great with the gold accents. She also uses the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder as her background.
Up next is the card from Diana Langman. She uses the Splendid Thoughts stamp set, but decided to pair it with the Scalloped Contours dies. Her main colour, Soft Succulent, comes from the gorgeous Texture Chic DSP. She also created a different kind of gatefold card for her design.
The next card is from Rosina Petrella. She also crafted a fun fold card… wish I knew what it’s called (let me know if you do). Rosina, like Moira, also uses the whole Splendid Day suite for her card. Her main colour is Fresh Freesia and I really like how she overlapps the coordinating die cuts with the stamped images. I think I might need to figure out how to create this fun fold myself!
And last but definitely not least is the card made by Lorraine Melanson. She also uses Fresh Freesia, but she pairs it with Mint Macaron and added a simple metallic piece of DSP. I love the bee, but I think my favourite thing about this card is how she did some tone on tone stamping on her card base. It’s such a simple way to step up a plain piece of cardstock!
I love our team card swaps! They’re a great chance to get inkspiration. Plus you can see samples using products you might not have. Check out all the other reasons why I love my team, and Stampin’ Up! family, here. And you can find the Splendid Thoughts bundle, and everything else, in my online shop.
