Incredible Like You

amazing as you wm

I’ve got another swap coming up with my team (two actually). This card swap was a colour challenge, meaning we were only able to use the four listed colours; Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.

At first I wasn’t too sure how it was going to turn out, but I’m quite happy with the results. I made this #simplestamping card with the Incredible Like You stamp set from the Occasions catalogue.

The official card swap happens this weekend so stay tuned and I’ll even look at sharing them live on my Facebook page next week!

Needlepoint Nook

needlepoint nook wm

This card was one of the great Make & Takes that were part of OnStage this past November in Orlando. It features the all new Needlepoint Nook Suite and uses just about every product on the page (pg. 39 of the Occasions catalogue); the stamp set, the framelits, the Designer Series Paper as well as the mini buttons and Old Olive linen thread.

An important tip that I learned at OnStage with this stamp set in particular is to stamp off first onto another piece of paper before stamping on your cardstock. This is especially important if you are using a brand new inkpad, otherwise you do not get to see the fine detail that gives these stamps the look that they have actually been stitched.

Stamping Fun!

So this past weekend I had my official Catalogue Launch party to celebrate the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogues. We had fun stamping, checking out all the awesome new products and hanging out! This was our Make and Take and the treat boxes that I made for everyone who came.

If you haven’t checked out the new catalogues yet, make sure to head over to my website ( www.stampinup.com/inkspirationcards) or if you like to have a copy in your hands like me then send me an email at inkspirationwithteresa@gmail.com and I’ll mail them out to you!

Colouring with Crafting Forever

do something creative wm

I had someone join my team recently (Welcome Cheryl!) and so I decided to create a card for her, just something simple with a little something extra added. So of course I went with the Crafting Forever stamp set… I love this set!! It’s great for some #simplestamping and goes great with either the Watercolour Pencils (which is what I used here) or Stampin’ Blends. To get the pot a little closer to the terracotta colour I actually coloured first with the Pumpkin Pie and then the Early Espresso. If you want you can also go over your Watercolour Pencils with your Blender Pen to smooth out the lines.

Craft Storage with Paper Pumpkin

old pp box wm

Just like many of you, I’m always looking for ways to store all my crafting and stamping supplies so they don’t completely take over my craft space. I also get extra excited when the storage looks good too! So I decided to re-purpose a couple of old Paper Pumpkin boxes and used some old Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper to make them look pretty. Now they’ll hold my adhesives and Stampin’ Blends. All they need now are labels!

Happy 2019!

I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and I hope that 2019 brings you and yours lots of wonderful things!

A fellow demonstrator posted pictures of a New Year’s Hat that she had created (I wish I could remember their name) and it inkspired me to create some of my own to ring in the New Year.

Happy New Year!

Simple Stamping

Stampin’ Up! has launched a challenge for it’s demonstrators in order to show how simple card making can truly be. It can definitely feel overwhelming when you’re first starting out and so for the month of December we’ve been challenged to use 1 stamp set from the Annual Catalogue, 1 ink colour and a Notecard to create a Thank You Card. Here’s my #simplestamping project using Powder Pink and the This Little Piggy stamp set. Enjoy!

For the Twelfth Week of Christmas

Noel 4x6 Frame wm

We are less than a week away from Christmas… can you believe it?! I hope that you’ve enjoyed these last 12 weeks of Holiday inkspiration and I hope that you enjoy the next couple of weeks whether we end up with snow or not.

Here’s the last project sheet for this cute and simple home decor piece. It features the Pretty Pines Thinlit Dies and the Festive Farmhouse DSP. Can you tell I love these?!

Enjoy!

Week 12 – Noel 4×6 Frame

Last of my Holiday Catalogue Swaps!

Here are the last two cards from the Holiday Catalogue swap I participated in a little while back. I really loved all the ideas and techniques that I saw being used and I’m glad that I’ve been able to share them with all of you!

The first card was created by Laurie Alexander and features the Winter Woods stamp set (which by the way is being carried over!) and uses sponging to create the Northern Lights effect in the background. This one is definitely my favourite out of all of them!

The other card was created by Vicki Howie and uses the All is Bright Designer Series Paper and the phrase is from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set and is embossed with the Gold Embossing Powder.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in the swap and I hope that you all have enjoyed them as well!

For the Eleventh Week of Christmas

Christmas Pines Mini wm

With less than two week’s to go until the holidays, here is this week’s project sheet. A cute and quick card that would bring a smile to just about anyone who receives it! It features the Christmas Pines stamp set and the Festive Farmhouse DSP. So click on the link for everything you need to know to CASE this card and let me know if you have any questions!

Week 11 – Christmas Pines mini

13 more days til Christmas!

I can’t believe that there are only 13 more days until Christmas! This weekend I’m hoping to finish up my holiday shopping, but I’m sure ALOT of other people will be having the exact same thought. I hope that you’re preparations are well almost done or at least well under way, in the meantime here are a couple more cards from my teams Holiday catalogue swap.

The first card uses Granny Apple Green and features the Winter Woods stamp set which also has coordinating Framelit Dies if you’re not up for dussy cutting the tree. The second card used Old Olive, a splash of Black with the cardstock and Baker’s Twine and features not Designer Series Paper but the Peaceful Noel and Buffalo Check stamp sets.

Thanks Amber & Darcie!
