A new Annual catalogue means it time for card swaps!! For every new catalogue my team usually puts out a call to anyone who wants to participate. It’s a great way to get a lot of different designs without having to buy all the stamp sets yourself. With COVID we’ve shifted our swaps to the mail. So instead of swapping in person we pop our cards in the mail to everyone. I’m still waiting for my last few swap cards to arrive and I’m excited to share them with you, so stay tuned. In the meantime I’m sharing my swap card with Quiet Meadow.
This stamp set caught my eye pretty quickly. And I love the coordinating dies!. So that’s where I started with my design. I also wanted to use at least one of the new 2021-2023 In Colours. So next up was the colour combination. If you’ve been following my blog for a bit then you know that one of my favourite colour combinations is purple and green. I’m loving Soft Succulent so I decided to pair that with Highland Heather. Check out all the new In Colours here.
I used Highland Heather for my card base, the die cut flower (which came from the Meadow dies) and the stamped phrase. Then I used Soft Succulent for a bit of a background image and a strip of the new In Colour 6×6 Designer Series Paper. I also stamped a little something on the inside.
Along with the die cut flower, I also used the largest Stitched Rectangle die to create a frame. Then I cut out the phrase using one of the other Meadow dies. The flower and strip of DSP got popped up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. And of course I had to add some bling. So I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Here it is…
I love how my swap card with Quiet Meadow turned out. And I can’t wait to open my card swaps. I’m waiting to get all my swaps before I open them. So I’m hoping I’ll have them all by this weekend so I can share my favourites with you. Stay tuned!
In the meantime you can check out the Quiet Meadow bundle or any of the other new products from the new Annual catalogue in my online shop.
