So last weekend I took a day and went on a virtual vacation with my team. We took “tours” of different countries around the world and had some creative challenges. I love seeing these women, even if it is only online, we always have so much fun! Plus I ended up adding a couple of countries to my long list of places to travel. One of the creative challenges in between our “tours” was a sketch challenge. This is where you’re given the basics of a design and then you decide what you’re going to use to create it. I recently did one for the Paper Craft Crew that you can check out here. For this one I did my sketch with Berry Blessings from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.
I pulled my colours from the patterned paper design I took from the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper pack. I love pairing greens and purples and the Rich Razzleberry and Granny Apple Green work really well together! Behind the 3 pieces of DSP is a piece of Granny Apple Green that I embossed using the Subtle 3D embossing folder. The embossing really helps make the cardstock look less plain. I also did some tone on tone stamping with Rich Razzleberry for my 2 banners.
The phrase came from the Berry Blessings stamp set. And I stamped it with Rich Razzleberry ink. I have to admit, Rich Razzleberry is one of my favourite colours! I cut out the phrase using one of the Stitched Shapes circle dies. And then popped it up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish it off I had to add some bling. So I added a few of the small Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Here’s the full card…
I love how my sketch with Berry Blessings turned out! And I’m looking forward to crafting some more with these. If you’d like to get in on the fun with me and my team then join my team! Right now when you sign up before the end of the February you’ll get 5 packs of exclusive 6×6 patterned paper on top of the $135 worth of Stampin’ Up! products of your choosing. Check it all out here!
