A No Stamping Card

A No Stamping Card

With the launch of the new Annual catalogue back at the beginning of the month, I had an online catalogue launch party. And as part of this I wanted to do something different. This time I wanted to have a Make & Take that others could do with me live! Which is tricky since they wouldn’t have any of the new stamp sets from the catalogue yet. So I decided to try a “no stamping” card. Which as the name implies needs no stamping to complete.

The other piece to my card design was that I wanted to show off the new In Colours. If you haven’t heard about In Colours before, you can check it out here. The easiest way to do this I thought would be with the new In Colour 6×6 Designer Series Paper pack. And I used some Basic White cardstock to really help the colours pop.

I still wanted to add a few more layers to the card. So each card featured all of the new In Colours and at the same time focused on one of them. Behind each piece of Basic White cardstock and DSP strips was a piece of cardstock of one of those colours. Then I die cut a butterfly using the Meadow dies in that same colour. Plus, since I love to add a bit of bling to my cards, I also used the same In Colour gems.

For all my customers that signed up for the Make & Take, I also made a goodie bag. I used the new In Colour Ombre bags and added a die cut butterfly and some stamped images in the same colour as the bag. Inside I put some tea, some chocolate and their Make & Take supplies.

My customers loved the card and goodies! And I definitely enjoyed making a “no stamping” card. I will totally do this again for my Annual catalogue launch party next year. If you want to shop the new In Colours then check out my online shop.
