For this card I decided to pair the stamp set Tasteful Touches with Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper. I really like this pack of paper and have been having alot of fun creating with it. Tasteful Touches is another favourite of mine right now and I love how these go together. I think I’m going to have to pair these two up again!
The colours for this card came from the DSP itself; Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake. I love the different colours with this design! I have to admit that I wasn’t sure about Cajun Craze before… but between this DSP pack and last month’s Paper Pumpkin kit I have become a fan. Plus when you’re creating with patterned paper it’s so much easier to make your designs nice and simple and still be beautiful!
I simply layered the cardstock and then put the DSP on top; Crumb Cake was my card base and then Cajun Craze as my card mat. The phrase is what I popped up on this card with some Stampin’ Dimensionals which came from the Tasteful Touches stamp set.
Then I added some Linen Thread which is always a favourite of mine, but especially this time of year. It adds such a nice natural touch to any card. To top it off I added some bling, of course… with a few Gilded Gems. I always have to add some bling!
This card was fun and easy to make! It makes me wish that the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper pack was part of the Designer Series Paper sale that happening this month.
