It’s been a while since I shared my card for a recent team card swap. So I thought it was high time that I shared some of the colourful handmade cards I got. This team card swap is for the January-June Mini catalogue and so we needed to feature one of the stamp sets from it. After that we could use whatever we wanted to coordinate with it. This first card is made by Laura Seki. I always love her designs! This cards uses the Rainbow of Happiness bundles with Coastal Cabana and Real Red. She also used the Gingham Embossing folder and added a bit of Basic Black twine. That black twine is such a nice touch. The fun part about this card is that just the bottom half opens up. So the Basic White border around the Real Red cardstock in actually on the inside.
This other card is made by Lisa Gardner and uses one of my favourite colours… Highland Heather. It’s such a pretty shade of purple! The Tulips Fields bundle is a fun one. You can create some fun scenes with it. And if you use a brad the windmill blades will turn! In this card, Lisa used one of the Pastel Pearls and the windmill blades are in Early Espresso. She also sponged the edges of the cardstock with the phrase and popped it up with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I always love joining our team card swaps! They’re such a great way to spark some inkspiration and see how others use stamp sets, etc. that I don’t have.
