September to December Catalogue Retiring List

A couple times a year Stampin’ Up! has to make room for new catalogues and products. The big one is in the Spring when the Annual Catalogue retires. But right now is the other. The September to December Catalogue retiring list is out! See what’s sticking around and what’s not.

Starting today, until January 3rd, or until supplies run out, grab these retiring products before they’re gone! Some of the retiring products are up to 60% off. The list includes packs of patterned paper, stamp sets, dies, embellishments, etc. There are also products that are carrying over, so you won’t have to worry about those just yet. And then there are some products that are part of a bundle, but they won’t be a bundle after January 3rd. A bundle gets you 10% a coordinating stamp set and punch/dies. So once the new catalogues launch you’ll have to buy them separately and at full price… unless you’re a demonstrator like me.

I’m always a little sad when this happens. I just get into a creative groove with some of these products and then it’s time to say goodbye. Be sure to check your wishlist and see if anything from the September to December catalogue retiring list matches up. If it does I wouldn’t wait too long. Things have been known to sell out before we get to the end of the sale.

For the full list, you can contact me. I’m happy to answer any questions you have and to send you the list!

And you can check out my online shop before things start to sell out here.

September to December Mini Retiring List

Goodbye Mint Macaron

I don’t think that the last time Stampin’ Up! did a Colour Refresh I was this sad. Last time I remember being excited because they were bringing Blackberry Bliss back. But I don’t remember being upset about any colours retiring. This time is definitely different! And next week I’m going to feature some projects with my favourite colours that are retiring. For this week though I’m saying goodbye Mint Macaron. This is definitely been a colour I use a fair bit, so I’m a little sad to see it go.

For this card I paired it with the Love Cats stamp set which is what I’ve been featuring this week. So of course my other colour for my colour combination is black! The idea for this card design was sparked by a card my upline shared. I started with a Mint Macaron card base which I embossed with the Gingham embossing folder. Then I layered on a piece of Basic Black cardstock that I cut out using the Stitched Rectangles dies. I still can’t get over the fact that these are retiring!

On top of that layer is my kitty which I stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Then I die cut that with a smaller Stitched Rectangles die and wrapped some of the Black & White Gingham ribbon around it. The phrase is from the Friends are like Seashells stamp set. I stamped that with Mint Macaron and then popped it up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Goodbye Mint Macaron

Usually I add a bit of bling to my cards, but this guy is just so cute I didn’t feel like it needed it.

Check out my card from earlier this week using the Love Cats here.

There’s still time before it’s goodbye Mint Macaron forever! Head over to my online store for the most up to date info on what’s still in stock. You have until May 1st!

2023 Retiring Products

Just last week Stampin’ Up! released it’s list of 2023 retiring products! This time of year is always bittersweet for me. I’m excited for the new products coming in the new Annual catalogue and I’m sad to see the retiring products go. And sadly there always seems to be a few that hit harder than others. For me this year that’s the Friends are like Seashells stamp set and the Layering Circles and Stitched Rectangles dies. The dies especially are ones that I use so often!

As always Stampin’ Up is making room for the great new products coming in the new Annual catalogue that launches in just 3 weeks. Plus this year Stampin’ Up! did a Colour Refresh. So some colours we’ve been used to seeing in the Annual catalogue are also retiring. A couple of my favourites are a part of this too… Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz. To help ease the pain of products leaving they’re offering up to 60% off!

I always say this when the list comes out, but this year it’s especially important. If there’s something on your wishlist that’s retiring don’t wait!!! After only a week ALOT is already sold out! Thankfully there’s still lots that’s available. But there’s no guarantee that things will still be available on May 1st (the last day of the sale).

In my more than 10 years as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator I’ve never seen retiring products sell out so fast! So don’t wait until all the 2023 retiring products are gone! For the most up to date information on what’s still available check my online shop. I just can’t keep up with it this year!

Check out the card I shared last week that features some retiring products that are still available here.

2023 Retiring Products

Goodbye Polished Pink

For the past few weeks I’ve been featuring the 2021-2023 In Colours to get ready for this. This list of retiring products is now officially out! And that means it’s officially time to say goodbye Polished Pink. I’ll talk more about the list next week, so stay tuned. And over the next couple of weeks I’ll be featuring some of the retiring products in my projects. But if there’s something you really want, don’t wait! Things are selling out already!

For this card my main colour is Polished Pink, of course. And I’m pairing it with one of my favourite colours Blackberry Bliss. This is a bit of an unlikely colour combination but it works. Polished Pink is definitely a colour that’s had me scratching my head at times to figure out what to pair it with. And now that I’m getting the hang of it, it’s retiring. Grr!

The images I’m using for this card are also retiring. I’m really sad that Butterfly Brilliance is retiring (dies too), but I’ll be holding on to this one. I stamped the butterflies in Polished Pink and the sentiment too, which is from Something Fancy. To keep Polished Pink as the focus I used Blackberry Bliss mainly as a background colour. Including the typed text from Quiet Meadow.

To add a little something more to the card I also embossed the piece of cardstock with the stamped text using the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. Then on top of that, and the butterflies, I used one of the Something Fancy dies to frame the sentiment. To finish it off I popped up the sentiment and added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels for a little bling.

Goodbye Polished Pink

While I’m sad that it’s time to say goodbye Polished Pink… and Butterfly Brilliance, I’m excited for the new catalogue. And I can’t wait for my pre-order to arrive so I can start sharing some new projects with you!

Check out a couple more retiring colours here. I can’t believe that Pear Pizzazz is retiring too! This summer is going to be a busy one with purging and reorganizing my craft stash!

For the latest on what is still in stock from the retiring list, check out my online shop. I’ve never seen things sell out this quickly before so don’t wait!!

One More Time

It seems like it wasn’t that long ago that we did this, but here we go again! One more time it’s time to say goodbye to some retiring products. This time it’s with the January-June Mini catalogue. If you’ve got your hands on the new Annual Catalogue then you’ve already seen what’s carrying over. But if you haven’t then you’ll want to check out the full list that goes live today below.

As always I have mixed feelings regarding what’s retiring. Some of my favourites are retiring and I’m sad to see them go. But it’s not as big a reaction as this past Annual Catalogue’s retiring list was. There were definitely some shockers with that one! And just like with all the lists of retiring products they’re only available while supplies last. Things like the stamp sets are more likely to still be there towards the end of the sale on June 30th. Other things like ribbon and embellishments might not. I’m actually wondering how long the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper will last. I’ve been having so much fun crafting with this paper and I know some of my customers will be grabbing this while they still can.

The other important thing to point out with the list are the discounts! This time the discounts go up to 50% and there are a number of products that are 50% off. Which means that products might sell out quicker than you think. So don’t wait too long if your favourites are on the list!

Here’s the list for all my fellow Canadians…

Remember these products are only available one more time… and only while supplies last. Check it all out here in my online shop. And remember the sale kicks off today!

Final Goodbyes

The new Annual catalogue is launching in just 4 days! And while I’m excited for all the goodies in the new catalogue I’m sad about some of the products that are retiring. There are some of my favourite go-tos leaving. So it’s time to say my final goodbyes! Over the past few weeks I’ve been sharing different projects featuring some of the products that are retiring. Here‘s one of my favourites.

For this project I used a few different products that are retiring. To start off my design I chose to feature two stamp sets that are retiring; Many Mates and Itty Bitty Birthdays. I’m definitely going to miss the Many Mates stamp set. I love the variety of the phrases and fonts. This is one that I’ll be holding on to for sure. Once I had an idea of how I wanted to use the stamp sets I picked my colour combination. For this one I wanted to make a more masculine/neutral card. So I went with Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy. I’ve never used this combination before and I really like it.

I wanted the other pieces to really pop and so I went with a larger Night of Navy border than I usually do. But I didn’t want it to be plain so I used the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder (this folder is sticking around, thankfully). I picked a couple of different phrases from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and alternated the ink colours to create a kind of DIY Designer Series Paper. Then I cut it out with one of the larger Stitched Rectangles dies, wrapped some Linen Thread around it and popped it up with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Final Goodbyes

To top it off I stamped the “It’s Your Day!” phrase from the Many Mates stamp set with Night of Navy. And then cut it out with one of my favourite go-tos that I’m very sad to say is retiring, the Stitched Shapes dies. It’s definitely going to take me a while to get over this one! The border behind it is the Natural Touch Specialty Paper which I cut out with the next die up. Here’s the full card…

Final Goodbyes

I can’t believe it’s time to say our final goodbyes to some of these great products! Have you checked out the list of retiring products yet? If not, then you want to make sure to head over to my online shop ASAP!! If they haven’t sold out yet you only have until Monday May 3rd to get any of your favourite retiring products.

Last Chance

It’s a little earlier than usual, but it’s almost time for the new Annual Catalogue from Stampin’ Up! And so they’re making room for new products. Which means it’s our last chance to get those products that are retiring. Every year Stampin’ Up! releases a list of all the products that won’t be available in the new catalogue. And sometimes there’s even some discounts on some of these products. This year’s no different.

And just like other years I have mixed feelings about the list. Although this year there are a few retiring products that hit me harder than usual. Like the Stitched Shapes dies and the Stitiched Nested Labels dies. These are two of my go-to sets of dies when I’m crafting. There are also some of my favourite stamp sets retiring too. Fortunately I’ve had a sneak peek at the upcoming new catalogue and there’s a lot that I’m excited about.

The most important things to remember are that even though the catalogue is around til May 3rd, the retiring products are only available while supplies last. And the 2019-2021 In Colour products are part of the list. And these will definitely not last! These products are always the first to sell out and some of these are already starting to run low.

If you live in Canada and want a copy of the new catalogue just send me an email. In the meantime, here’s the list of retiring products for those of us in Canada…

After May 3rd these products will be gone… if they last that long. So don’t miss out on your last chance to get your favourites! Head over to my online shop before they’re gone.
