So when I was at ScrapFest last weekend I grabbed a mystery bag from Byrd’s Nest Paperie. I got one from them a couple of years ago and loved all the little bits and pieces I got inside. So I decided to grab another and do some mystery crafting with it.
First thing I did was dump out my mystery bag, of course. There are some great little card, some gabric flowers and butterflies and a few trinkets. Then I pulled a few different pieces that I thought might go together.
Next I cut an Early Espresso card bae and a Crumb Cake card mat. I wanted to rough up the Crumb Cake card mat a bit though. So I tore the edges and then rubbed some Ealy Espresso ink onto the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
On top of that I wrapped some Linen Thread around on of the cards. I popped it up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a few of the fabric flowers using Glue Dots.

I had a lot of fun with the mystery crafting project! I’m looking forward to seeing what else I can do with al the pieces I have left.
And don’t forget… there’s only a week and a half left until the new Annual Catalogue launcher! Stock up on cardstock before the price goes up and check out what’s left of the retiring product in my online shop.
